A Comparative Study of the Jurisprudential rules of the Muslims Souks from the viewpoint of of the Shiites and Sunnis

Abstract

The Muslims Souk is one of the issues that has been considered since the beginning of Islam. Today, there are problems with large-scale transactions with other countries, although there have been many practical and scientific efforts. In this research, the jurisprudential rules of the Muslims Souk and the rule of buying and selling in those souks have been studied from the jurisprudential perspective and the views of the shiite and sunni's jourists. At first, the author deals with some concepts, terms and keywords such as rule, souk and Muslims. Then he goes on to discuss the jurisprudential rules of the Muslims Souk and outlines some specific issues pertaining to the Muslims souk, including whether the food, especially beef, mutton, poultry, fish, etc. that sold in the market has been slaughtered lawfully or not? In the other words, is the food in the Muslim souk generally Halal and pure or not?
